Clutter of order status option in order page drop down

Could the order status options be excluded from the dropdown on the order page if they are "unassigned" by user through Go to Set-up > Checkout Settings > Manage Order Statuses?

  I've brought this up as well, would be very helpful as it's a mess currently.
