NOINDEX setting for entire site

Having a NOINDEX setting for the entire site (via Robots.txt or Zoey changing the header on every page) would be really useful.
We find ourselves at the stage where we can't test certain third party integrations as the site is in Maintenance Mode but don't wish to take it out an unleash Google onto it. Having such as setting would solve this.

Hi Richard, wouldn't the setting - Allowed IP's - help in your case? That shows only your store for the IP adresses you mention in there and that would prevent Googlebot to crawl it until you're ready to go live. Best regards, Sandra
