[Imported] api authentication

hello, I am a developer asked to provide a more robust Infusionsoft integration. I have setup the api role/keys but I don't see documentation on how to authenticate the initial connection. Could you point me into the right direction?

am I to understand then, that Zoey is build on Magento?

  If you are using the SOAP API see: http://devdocs.magento.com/guides/m1x/api/soap/introduction.html

   

  Zoey is nearly fully compatible with the Magento 1.x API (SOAP/REST). Although we started out from Magento the code base is vastly different at this point and we are in the process of working on our own set of API/SDK which will be released under developer.zoey.com in the future. For now, using the Magento APIs should function properly. If you run into any issues please open a support ticket although we are limited in what we can provide assistance with given third party code.
