Making existing products appear as new products.

I want to add products to my site that are not yet currently available but upcoming so that they can be crawled by google and that so customers know that I will have them available. Is there a way to make a product show at the top of the page when the category is set to [Newest on Top] when they actually arrive?

Also to go along with this we still need a notify when product is in-stock notification option!!! Zoey please make this happen, should be a native feature and not relying on a 3rd party app that may never happen.

  Hello,

  If I understand correctly, you may be able to do what you're looking for by creating the products, setting them to out of stock, adding an attribute called “coming soon message” and then show that attribute on the category and product page. Customers will see the coming soon message that you put in and won't be able to buy it as it is out of stock.

  One of our partners has released an app for Product Stock notification. I see that you're already using it! Fantastic!
