Save my colors in design mode for repeat use

It drives me absolutely crazy to have to key in the color code for anything and everything in design mode. I have a brand palette... I am only using a handful of colors. I should be able to enter them once, and then click them in the color picker when editing anything else for the rest of time in the WYSIWYG editor... buttons, boxes, whatever. 

If I am missing this function somewhere, then hallelujah and my apologies!
