Sort address book alphabetically

We provide dropshipping service to our wholesale customers, so on their customer account they accumulate a lot of "ship to" addresses due to the dropshipping.
One of our customers requested, and I thought it was a great idea, to have the saved addresses sorted alphabetically by last name so that they can find their repeat customers more quickly in the saved addresses dropdown during checkout when placing a dropship order.
I assume currently they are being displayed in chronological order that they were entered, but in any event they aren't currently being sorted alphabetically.

This feature already exists under Customers->Settings "Sort of customer addresses". Hope this helps!

Would be great idea - also if a lot of addresses are entered maybe it would be useful to have the ability to search the address over a Search field.

Yes, and YES. This is a must-have for people who accumulate lots of ship-to addresses. Some of our customers have more than 100.

Must be kind of a new setting - didn't see it before or missed it :)
Still a Search field is a Nice to have.

The setting has been there since the beginning.

Thanks Uri, I didn't know that setting was available. There's still a related issue we'd like to see changed. I'll open a different new feature request for it.
