Assign Related Products, Upsell Products by category

I would like to assign a Category to either Related Products, Upsell, Crosssell selections.  Then when a new product is added to that Category it is automatically added to the Related Products/Crosssell list.

  Maybe one of these apps available in Zoey would meet your needs - REKKO or NOSTO. Both offers product recommendations even personalized on customer behavior :)
