Configurable product price variation display - Bring it back!

So I found it weird that on custom options, if there is a price variance it automatically puts it into the system showing +35.00 or -35.00 as an example but on configurable products, this isn't present.

I understand that some people may prefer not to display this, but the majority I feel would. Why not make it an option that can be toggled vs removing it altogether as a functionality?

  Yes, please bring this feature back.  When prices of configurable products vary, the customer should be able to see the price difference of that variation in the drop-down list.
