UPS shipping cost
So we had our UPS rep in today and we were comparing shipping rates which we get via the store and what we get as our negotiated rates. The difference is shocking and because we are shipping some bulky / heavy items we fear it is hindering our sales when people see the rates.
As of now to get our negotiated rates I understand that on the UPS side they will supply the needed API's and how to do it but on the Zoey side I'm lost. Will this require us to hire a developer or is there an App already for this?
My other question is this something that you might consider incorporating into the site for future upgrades? I'm sure it will be a good draw for many online retailers.
Thanks, Pete

Zoey has a built in UPS shipping integration, you just have to select from shipping settings UPS and enter your credentials.
There is a setting lower down on the page that says "Enable negotiated rates" which will instantaneously display your new lower rates vs "retail". Easy peasy!

Why do I always feel like an idiot when I find the answer???
Combination of mistakes / learning
1) UPS ground was not "live" but still in test mode, everything else was live. Don't ask me how or why except that the entire UPS (UPS website) process is great if you are a developer but I'm a lowly cubicle mushroom :-) so it was cryptic as hell.
2) A few weights were incorrect on bulky items and this was one we "Happened" to choose, shame on me for not weighing it myself first.
Sometimes I cringe that I bring up things that seem to be a comedy of errors but I also feel if the Zoey team is watching me show my struggles (Jump around screaming naked) that it might help them make both the instructions better and the website better for clueless mushrooms like myself.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE the web-platform, the customer service and the new developments Zoey is coming out with. But just like with our customers we have to go for helping the lowest common denominator. I hate the fact that here I'm the lowest common denominator....................:-)
