I have an issue that I come against often where a customer will call in and request an item that is available from one of our suppliers, but we do not offer on our website. I end up having to create this order offline directly in our accounting softwae, which really messes with our order flow. I do this because the accounting software allows us to add line items that are not physically in the system. It essentially is a textual line, where i fill in the product name, price and then qty.
I would love it if we can do the above in Zoey, but I understand that there may be issues with this. A workaround I thought about would be to add a quick add functionality in the create order page. So, next to the add products to order button can be a "quick add" button that either inline or via a popup allows you to add an item with basic information. Name, Price, Visibility, sku etc.
There could be an additional button that allows you to expand the window to fill in more details OR opens the product edit in a new window to allow you to fully add the remaining details if you so choose.
The benefit here is that vendors will be able to add products on the fly while talking to a customer, and maintain them in the system.
