Gift with Purchase Promotion

I would like to setup a promotion where a customer puts $X into their cart and then they get a product or is able to select from a small list a product they get for free. So essentially, "Buy $50 worth of stuff get this item(s) free."

  This would be great! We were wanting to do a similar promotion.
