New Feature Request: POA / Request for Price Feature (Simple & Advanced)
To Development Team:
I would like to request for the development of a new feature that allows companies to build an online catalog of products without entering a price. A user would be able to fill a form on each product page with his/her details and submit a form which would be sent to a designated inbox sharing the details of the customer as well as that of the product he/she was interested in gaining more information. This would be the simple version.
A more advanced version would allow registered users to select multiple products, similar to adding items to a shopping cart and then submitting the request to the company for price information. This would save the user time for having to fill out the form on multiple product pages, if required.
This feature would help wholesale companies who do not display their prices to the public even though they wish to showcase their inventory online.

While this feature does not apply to me, I do have some suggestions.
You can turn off "price" as a mandatory input for each product.
Then you can disable payment gateways at the end so when they try to checkout it wont make them pay but it will submit you the order as a zero total checkout and then you can use the information they provided as means to give them a quote.
I disabled price on the grouped products on my site.
However, it seems simple enough to add a get quote option.

Thank you for your insight. I have implemented the suggestions you made however I am facing some issues:
1. How can I edit the 'Add to Cart' button to read 'Request Price'
2. Is there a method to embed a form on the product page which the user can fill and send to an e-mail address? I would need some information in the e-mail such as the customer's input as well as the product from which he sent the request.
Thanks,

Hi Sumeet,
I offer an automatic quote form generation service that you described above. I build forms and PDF templates and customers either request an instant quote that is sent to their email address and my clients' emails directly, OR it just sends to the client and he/she will forward it to the customer when ready.
Take a look at my website and read a little more about what I do. I also have a sample automatic quote form that you can give a test run and see how it works for customers.
Thank you,

Yes please!
I've watched a number of YouTube videos by Zoey who stated the importance of this feature.
A true B2B focus feature that's needed. "Add to Quote" or "Quote"
I'm glad to see the workaround with google sheets / Jot Form.... but I'll wait it out.
