Images for simple products should be included in configurable products

I would like if a configurable product would show the images for each of its simple products. It is already set up so when an option is selected the main picture changes to show the selected option, but I would like for all of the images to be available as thumbnails.

  I think this is a given, they are part of the configurable and should be immediately added. I think this would be a great feature.
