Notify when back in stock
CompletedWe really need this on our web-site. Our customers are use to this and rely on it. We had it before, but it went away. We now have customers waiting on some products that were re-designed and have asked to be notified when back in stock, and now they will not be notified. This does not create trust with customers. Very disappointing that this went away.
If you do bring it back, we also need to have the ability to look at the product on the back end and see who has their name on the list. This was all available with Magento. Really starting to miss Magento!!!

We REALLY need this functionality added back in ASAP. This is a huge missing item with Zoey. I really was surprised to see this missing and had to weigh this missing feature heavily when considering Zoey. I saw that it was on the planned list and decided to continue with Zoey.
Please add this with the next round of updates. Thanks!

Ryan, I am sure hoping that they will get this out in their next upgrade. I know it is on the list, but no idea when it will make it into Zoey. They have made a few small patches for us recently as we found some minor issues with our new site. I suggest you email them and let them know how important this feature if for you.
Odd enough, I am also a hobby shop and it is hard to keep certain items in stock. We sell some gliders that take 6 months to manufacture once the order is placed. They are large and spendy items that we simply can not avoid stock outages for. Our customers depend on the back in stock feature on our current site. We will be pulling the plug on our old site and switching to Zoey this week. I will probably email them once a week until they add this feature.
For the record, I have been very pleased with the Zoey team. We shall see how robust their servers are when we go live with our site. I hope they are up to the task.

This is getting very frustrating for us. We are literally bogged down with having to email each and every customer when an item is back in stock. I believe we are loosing sales due to this. I think it would be nice if we could have an explanation as to why this is not happening, after all we do pay for this site. It is not FREE.

Uri responded to a tech email and said they have a third party actively working on a option. I hope this is true. It is embarrassing to tell people we do not have this feature. We get emails nearly everyday. some people use the wishlist thinking that will do the trick, then complain to us that is does not work.
I was chatting with another E Commerce site owner and he knew we switched to a new service and asked about it. I told him I love it, but it is lacking a few things like this feature and he was rather shocked that a modern site like Zoey would not have this built in. I could only agree and roll my eyes a bit. :(
