Product Status Flags on the Product Page?

Is it possible to show the status flags on the actual product page? I'm looking for a bold way to emphasize that a product is on sale or clearance or even new on the actual product page. The only option I can think of is to adjust the actual title of the product to include the highlight. For example: "Product (Clearance)".

  Hi Austin,

  Actually this is just available on the category page for the moment.

  There might be another option - it's to use attributes. e.g. Status with the values New, Sale, Clearance and add the attribute block to the product page.
