I didn't know an app existed for this, but if you don't want to pay for an app, I created a new Product Template which you can assign to the out of stock items. In the template, I added a custom field that links to a JotForm where the customer fills out a quick form and then we'd email them ourselves. Not the best workaround, but our customers prefer to call anyways, so we don't need an uber fancy option.
