Custom Field for Google Shopping - Mainly for Product Description

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to add a custom field to the Google Shopping section within the product edit page. What's happening with our store is that for most of our descriptions we use bullet points, and when the feed exports the HTML gets removed and the formatting gets out of sorts. The biggest issue is run-on sentences since most of the bullet points don't have periods or spaces at the end. I tried creating a custom field (attribute) to create a description "custom" for the Google Shopping feed but I am limited to the attribute's 255 character limit which for a product description is rather limiting. I was hoping Zoey could add a custom field that is longer than 255 characters (even 500 would work) so stores can add a description (or whatever) that is specific to Google Shopping. I'm kinda stuck and this seems like the only best option.
