Ability to disable discount code from product level instead of manually in each discount code

It is incredibly time consuming to manually update every single discount code with categories and/or products that you would like disallowed from using a discount code. There should be an option at the product level to chose whether or not would like to allow discount codes or not. The option to to also say no discount codes except _____ would also be fantastic. This update would be a huge efficiency gain for us.
