What is "Store Scope" and what is it used for?

Scope selection is how you can enter in specific settings for different languages. For instance, if you are on the Payments page in the Control panel, your “check/money order” payment method may need to be translated to “cheque / giro postal” for your Spanish store.

Your options here will include:

• Default Configuration 
• Main Website
• Any Store Views you have set up for additional languages and the like!
