Top Line Statistics
At the top of your Dashboard you'll find a quick summary of your store's activity over a period of time. Monitoring these stats daily will give you a quick snapshot into what’s happening in your store. Any changes in revenue can be explained first by taking a look at these metrics before going deeper into your statistics.
Here's what you'll find:
- Orders
- Revenue
- Customers
- Visits
- Conversion Rate
- Average Order Value (AOV)
It's important to understand how these are related to each other and what changes in your store have affected them. You may want to ask yourself: Where was the biggest change coming from among visits, conversion rate, and average order value (AOV)? Using additional reports to drill down on the answers to each question will help explain the driving factors behind any changes in revenue.
Revenue Over Time Graph
This tool is essential to understanding how your store is doing compared to previous periods, such as seeing how your revenue has been affected by a marketing campaign.
The blue line represents the current time period (such as today) and the orange line represents the previous period (such as yesterday). Use your mouse to hover over a data point and view exact values.
Purchase Funnel
The steps customers take before making a purchase are presented here in visual form, showing you where exactly there is potential to capture and convert customers who are leaving your site without purchase.
The following steps are presented both by numbers and colored blocks:
- Visited: the total number of visits to your site
- Shopped: visits that viewed at least one product
- Added to Cart: visits where at least one item was added to cart
- Purchased: visits with a completed order
You'll also find underneath the blocks the overall conversion rate for your site- the same as the conversion rate listed in Top Line Statistics.
Abandoned Carts
Abandoned Carts are the shopping carts that have been filled by customers but have never proceeded to checkout. Every abandoned cart is a lost opportunity where a potential customer showed interest but decided not to purchase at that time- but also a potential for improvement.
The main factors you will see here are:
- Abandoned Revenue: the lost revenue due to abandoned carts (the sum of their values)
- Abandoned Carts: total number of carts that were abandoned
- Abandon Rate: the percentage of all carts that were abandoned
Below the top line abandoned carts statistics are the top 3 most abandoned products from the selected time period. The chart shows each product’s name, with a link to its individual product page for more details.
