July 2014 Release Notes – Zoey Ticketing System

Below you’ll find a list of the latest features and updates that we’ve made to the Zoey platform. We listened to your feedback and made changes that we hope you’ll be pleased to learn about!

New Features

Multi Flat-Rate Shipping

Merchants can now configure up to 5 different flat rate shipping options.

Matrix Rate Shipping

The Matrix Rate plugin from Magento Go is now available in Zoey for matrix based shipping rates.

Global CSS and JavaScript Developer Tool

Merchants or Developers that need to have more control over the design of their store can do so with our Global CSS and JavaScript tool.

Enable Scope Configuration for Multi-Language

Merchants can now start configuring and translating their sites into multiple languages.

Add Store Language Selector in the Header

Customers can now select their preferred language and currency from the header of any page.

eBay and Amazon Integration

Ability to sell and manage inventory for your Zoey products on eBay and Amazon.

Google Shopping Feed Tool

Ability to list products on Google Shopping

Get Started Wizard

A “Get Started” tab will now appear on your Zoey control panel dashboard.

Easier Go Live

Merchants can now utilize a friendlier interface to setup your store using a domain name. Visit Set-up->Site Configuration->Domains to see the new page.

Internationalization Enhancements

Merchants can now translate their Product information into different languages. In addition, the options for “State/Region” drop-down of the Address form in checkout has been added. This will help our Australia and Japan customers who currently only have a text field for State/Region. You can also specify State/Regions as well as State/Region Codes that can be used in Table or Matrix Shipping Rates.

Added support for CCAvenue and EBS to process transactions

Translation Enhancements

Completely translate to the following languages: Spanish (AR, ES, CL, CO, MX), French (CA), Italian (IT), Japanese (JP), and Chinese (TW). Choose your translation by going to Set-up>Site Configuration>General. Select your Scope (Store View to be translated) or simply select the default translation, then in the “Locale” tab, select one of the Locations listed above in the dropdown. Click “Save” the Refresh your Store in Advanced>Store Refresh.

Homepage Tool Interface Re-Design

The interface has been simplified to make modifications to your custom homepage faster and easier.

New Editor has been added to Homepage, Content and Pages

The homepage tool now has a WYSIWYG editor in the blocks for creating more custom content. This previously was only a text block for text or HTML but now has a full WYSIWYG.

Products on the Homepage

From the Design>Homepage Tool or Design->Widgets Tool you can now add Products right to your Homepage! We’ve built two video tutorials to help you get started. Check them here and here.

Updated Mobile Menu

We have included functionality that allows users to navigate to all levels of your navigation on Mobile and Desktop by double tapping on touch devices.

Email Templates now by default pull from the Logo uploaded in the Header Tool.

Hiding Cart Dropdown no longer causes errors for Mobile
Mobile Spacing on Homepage has been fixed. There is no longer a large white space.
Logo Size on Mobile has been adjusted to have a larger width
Upgrades should no longer show trial banners
Homepage Slides are now sliding in the correct direction
Scope and Success Message in Control Panel are no longer overlapping
Slider Arrows will disappear if there is only 1 slide
Homepage Tool: “Overlay Text” now fills in Alt Tag on front-end
Homepage Traditional Layout block content width will now match the width of the Slider
Zoey Log-in Meta Title changed to “Zoey Control Panel”
Social media icons are now displaying correctly on Firefox
Reset Password on Zoey Control Panel will now submit the form
