The first big upgrade to Zoey for 2016 is here!
Unable to log in with Single Sign On? You may need to reset your password. Once you reset this you should be all set, but if not please contact Zoey Support
What is the update for?
Single Sign On is here! When you log on through login.zoeycommerce.com you will be logged on to not only your store's Control Panel, but also have access to your Account Panel which used to require a second sign on and be able to log on to other stores you work with without needing to log out! Along with this update, you'll also have stricter control over what your Control Panel users can access and limit which areas they can enter.
You'll also see an upgraded Billing area with more information on your account, past invoices and options to change your Zoey Plan.
What is changing?
There's very little that will affect your day to day operations in Zoey. Here are the main changes:
- Account Domain and Billing information straight from your control panel
- Access all your stores from one place
- User Permissions- restrict users you allow in your admin to specific areas such as orders or design
- Your Control Panel URL will be the same as your original / trial store's URL- myteststore.zoeysite.com or similar. This will only be for your Control Panel however, your customers will only see the Secure Site URL which you set up with your SSL installation
Why is this changing?
This update not only improves your experience by simplifying how to obtain and update information. It also introduces new security features, making it a little easier to introduce a new team member or partner assisting with your site and management.
How does this affect my customers?
Most importantly, this upgrade will not affect your customer's experience- they will still see your domain in your storefront and if you have an SSL installed, they will see your domain in the secure areas as well.
What do I need to do?
For most users, nothing! If you do however have errors connecting to third parties via API, such as ShipStation, please try configuring your connection with them again using the URL you now see in your control panel.
To update ShipStation Connection Settings:
- Log in to ShipStation
- Click the Gear icon in the top right to access settings
- Click Selling Channels > Store Set Up
- Click Connection next to your Zoey Store (It may be set up as a Magento Store, which is fine! We use the same connection.)
- Scroll down to Username, API Key and Store URL. For these, enter the following:
The API Username and Key found in your Control Panel under Apps > Shipstation
Store URL: https://[yourstorename].zoeysite.com - Click Test Connection
- You should receive a connection confirmation from ShipStation! Click Connect to finish.
- Use the refresh button next to the gear to Update All Stores and pull in your new orders!
