What version of Magento Community Edition do I need to migrate?
Zoey requires Magento Community Edition 1.7 or later to successfully migrate. Older versions of MCE will need to migrate manually.
You must also have SOAP API enabled in order to use our migration tool.

What information will be migrated?
Our Magento migration tool will migrate your product, category, order, and customer information.

Is there any information that cannot be migrated?
Due to limitations with Magento's API, we recommend manual migration of the following data:
- Bundle Product links*
- Configurable/Simple product association*

- Design/Themes
- Store Credit Records
- Custom added Customer attributes
- Tax Rates
- Shipping & Payment Methods
- System>Configuration Settings
- Shared Product Images - this only occurs when a product image has been set via Magento CSV import where the image is a linked URL from another product Image.
How long does migration take?
The migration time depends on the amount of data being migrated. For less than 1000 SKUs, orders, and customers, the process can take less than an hour. For greater than 1000 SKUs, orders, and customers, you should expect migration to take between one to six hours. Other factors that could increase the amount of time it takes: A large number of Product images, translations, or attributes.
Will migration affect my live store?
No, the migration tool utilized your Magento store’s API connection which can be utilized while keeping store live and transactional.
Can I continue to build my Zoey store during migration?
Yes, but we strongly recommend not building new products, categories, attributes or attribute sets during the process. Designing your store or updating settings like payment and shipping can be done safely during the migration.
Is there any cost to migrating?
Absolutely not! You can run your migration as soon as and as frequently as you like. This feature is also available during your 14 day free trial period.
